Lead #1- The Lighthouse
Writing Leads-
Leads are an important part of writing. This is the writer's chance to create interest in the story that is to follow. A good lead should excite the reader in someway and keep them reading. A lead is not the whole story. Just an opening paragraph, page, or chapter.
Write a strong lead for this picture.

ReplyDeleteIt was a dark day.A man was in a tall lighthouse. he did his breakfast earlier than usual. when he came out of the lighthouse it hapend a tsunami. he ran to get the sailers it was to late the wave crashed and it was to violent it was over his life

ReplyDeleteIt was a nice day he had coffee, toke a shower. then he went out to work and herd something a weird noise swoosh swoosh then he walked to the side to see what it was, it was a huge wave title.It was the end it was the end of me.
Isiah lay in bed. Trying to squeeze a few more minutes of sleep in. Drip. Drip. Drip. Water landed on his nose. He sat upright. What? What is that. He ran to the back door and saw a tsunami coming right at him.

ReplyDeleteIt was a normal morning. But the light house was standing right there, until a big wave came and splashed the light house. The light house got splashed by a huge wave but the light house was still standing there it can not be destructed.

ReplyDeleteI woke up from my 10 hour sleep I hear waves big waves and see water coming from the crack of my door I look out the window and I see a giant tidal wave.
I got out of bed I heard crashing then I ran out side and saw it I was going to die.
