This morning I learned that this big balloon (roughly a 7 foot diameter)represents the amount of carbon dioxide that is put into the air when one gallon of gasoline is consumed by your car. The average American contributes roughly 1100 of these to the atomosphere each year.
On the positive side, recycling 16 aluminum cans saves the same amount from being polluted into the air.
