This Week in Fourth Grade
MCA Reading is Wednesday and Thursday.
Math- We continue to review skills and concepts from the past 7 months. This week we will focus on Number Lines with fractions and decimals, Word Problems, and Angles.
Reading-We will be reading about the Grand Canyon as our main text. We will also read about the Great Barrier Reef, Yellowstone, and Hawaii. Our skills this wee are Main Idea and using Graphic Aids. Spelling words this week contain Greek and Latin word parts.
Social- Continue to study the Southwest states. We will be learning about the Grand Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns, El Paso/Juarez on the Texas/Mexico border, The Alamo, Austin, and the Oklahoma Land Rush.
