March 24-28th Mangrove Forests

Notes for This Week: Welcome to our new students! Glad you are joining us!

Reading:Nonfiction story on "keystone" plant species. Mangroves from the Southeast and saguaro cacti from the Southwest.
Math: Finished decimals last week. This week we will spend a day reviewing key concepts before we begin our MCA math preparations in April.
Social: Studying how farming has changed in the Midwest in the last 200 years. Specifically how the numbers of farmers have changed and the size of their farms.
Writing: Sentence fluency- writing paragraphs that flow.
Library: On Tuesday. Working on our state projects.
