Graphing

For Tuesday's math class. Each student needs a set of data to graph. We are studying the different types of graphs and when to use them. Some ideas for data:
  • Child's height over the years
  • Ages of people in their family
  • Sports statistics- How many homeruns Jim Thome has had each year of his career.
  • Types of cars in the neighborhood- How many Toyotas? Fords? Lamborghinis?
  • Spelling test scores for the last few weeks.
We will use Create-a-Graph to make graphs out of our data and post them on Kid Blog. Check out my Kid Blog post to see an example.
