A hastily arranged field trip to see The Tale of Despereaux will take place on Friday, December 19th. Here are some of the particulars:
Where: Chanhassen Theatre
When: Friday, December 19th @ 9:30 AM
Cost: Approximately $12/student (tentatively), same for parents if they ride the bus (space is limited, might be best to drive)
What's Included: ticket, pop, and popcorn
How: Westonka Bus Service
Who: All fourth grade students, their teachers, and parent chaperones (limit one parent per 4th grade student)
Expect a permission slip/notice tomorrow or Wednesday.
Sorry for the short notice, but we feel this will be a worthwhile event. We are currently reading the story in class (it is excellent) and it will be fun to compare & contrast the differences between the two versions of the story. Special thanks to Mrs. Williams our Media Specialist for setting up the theatre!
