Mean, Median, and Mode


Click on the picture to go the BBC's website on mean, median, and mode. Do the activity, then play the quiz. You may use a calculator to find the mean.

Remember:
Range- the difference between the lowest and highest numbers in a set of data.
Mean- the average. You add all of the numbers in the a set of data and divide by how many numbers there are.
Median- the number in the middle when you organize your data from least to greatest.
Mode- the number that occurs the most often in a set of data. Important- Use scratch paper to list numbers in order.

Homework: white math sheet 6.2 both sides for math. Reading- finish tic-tac-toe assignments, finish spelling.
