Tomorrow we will be visited by the GMS principal and counselor. They will talk to the kids about 5th grade.
In social studies today we learned about the Oklahoma Land Rush of 1889. Students took on different roles (Native American, Railroad Man, Rancher, Boomer, Sooner, Land Rush Participant). We discussed each group's experience. Students then received a "Fate" card to learn what happened to their character. Ask your child what happened to their character!
