Reading: We will be learning about carnivorous plants.
Writing: We will be studying how to make run-on sentences shorter and more fluent.
Math: Finishing up decimals- including adding and subtracting them.
Social Studies: Our Tour of the Midwest wraps up. Midwest capitals test on Friday.

Notes for this week:

1. Specials (Mon & Thurs- Art, Tues. & Fri- PE, Wed- Music)
2. We will begin studying the Southwest states (Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, & Arizona) this week.
3. This week's reading story is Dragons and Dinosaurs, a non-fiction piece about dinosaur facts and myths.
4. In math we will begin studying probability.
5. We will also be studying the carnivorous plants of Minnesota this week.
   
6. Congratulations to all the students on their hard work studying for the MCA tests. I am very proud of their effort.
7. There is a parent chaperone meeting Wednesday evening for Wolf Ridge.

Carnivorous Plants
