Wednesday Notes

Today in social we stopped by more Northeast landmarks in our DVD tour of the region. The Erie Canal amazed everyone, especially how it was built- 360 miles long, 4 feet deep, 40 feet wide going up hill-by hand!
Boston, Massachusetts was our other stop on the tour. We learned about Boston Common, the Boston Freedom Trail, and the African Heritage Trail. What a cool city. To comment on these sites or read the comments of others click here.
In math we finished up our studies of graphs and data. The class averaged 90% on the test. Great job! Click here for practice on our next unit of study, multiplication.
Finally, today we submitted holiday stories for The Laker's annual holiday edition. Click here to go to Mrs. Henkels' blog to view what our class and other 4th graders wrote about the holidays. Feel free to write a new entry in the comments section.
Homework:
Complete Camp Leakey Brochure, study spelling words, please return slips for Orchestra Hall.
