Wednesday Notes

Today we learned more about farming in the Midwest. Ask your child how many people out of 100 were farmers in the year 1900, and what was the average size of their farms.

In my reading class, students began reading the book Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes. The story is about a young girl living in Hiroshima, Japan ten years after the atom bomb was dropped on her city.

Homework Tonight:
Reading: Chapters 1-4 in Sadako and accompanying journal entries for each chapter.
Math: Blue Sheet- We tested on fractions today. Tomorrow we begin probability.

Tomorrow: Art Class
